DIVISION OF THE PSALTER INTO KATHISMA
The Orthodox Psalter (Book of Psalms) is divided into 20 kathisma. Each kathisma is divided into three stases (or “Glories”). We are now giving the distribution of the psalms into kathisma and stases. (We are using the Septuagint rendering).
